The Refuge at White Oak

The Refuge at White Oak is a private, 2,000 sq ft wooden lodge beside a 12-foot waterfall in Crystal Springs, Mississippi, about 30 minutes from Jackson.

Wake up to the sound of the falls, have coffee on the deck, and spend the afternoon exploring the creek below. At night, shoot a game of pool, grill out downstairs on the Weber charcoal grill (no grilling on the deck), or make s'mores around the fire pit outside.

The lodge sleeps up to 14 in 4 bedrooms with 3 bathrooms. The main lodge sleeps 8 (a king bed, a queen bed, a double bed and 2 single beds), and the separate first-floor space adds 2 twin-over-full bunk beds and its own full bath for groups of up to 14 (extra fee). You'll have a full kitchen (oven, stove, microwave, dishwasher and coffee maker), a dining room, a washer and dryer, Wi-Fi, central heat and air, and fresh linens and towels.

It's a favorite for family weekends, couples' getaways and trips with friends, and it can host small weddings and events (spring 2027 wedding packages start at $3,000).

Up to 2 pets are welcome with the owners' approval (pet fee applies). Check-in is 4 pm and check-out is 10 am.
